A very well written and moving story. I know the author and read the book after I heard she had passed away just prior to Christmas (2014). This made the story even more poignant and sad. I walked the Survivors Lap with Sally last year at a local RFL and was so saddened at her passing. Sally's story shows the importance of a loving family and friends and to pursue all alternatives when faced with cancer and the determination to live as much as you can and as long as you can for those you love.
